We have now released version 2.3.3 of the ExpenseIn mobile app. The small number of users experiencing issues capturing receipts due to an Apple iOS bug should now be able to use the app successfully.
We have now received confirmation form Apple that this issue will be fixed in iOS 13. As they are unable to confirm the release date for iOS 13, we have decided to implement a fix that will help mitigate the issue for the small number of users affected. This fix will be available in the next few days under version 2.3.3.
We have had a small number of reports from users experiencing issues capturing receipts from the camera and gallery on iOS devices runnning iOS 12.2 and 12.3. Following our investigation, Apple have confirmed this is a bug that was introduced in 12.2 and a fix will be deployed. Unfortunately, we do not have timings on this fix.
Based on our usage reports, we estimate this is impacting less than 5% of users running iOS 12.2 and 12.3.
